Central Vacuum Installation in Utah

Mountain Central Vac installs central vacuum systems throughout the Wasatch Front and western United States. We have been installing systems in Utah homes and businesses since 1990—thousands of installations across new construction, existing homes, and commercial buildings.

Why Central Vacuum Installation Matters

A central vacuum system exhausts 100% of debris, dust, and allergens outside the living space through a sealed pipe network to a power unit typically located in the garage or utility room. Unlike portable vacuums, there is no recirculation of fine particles back into the air you breathe—a significant benefit for allergy sufferers, families with pets, and anyone concerned about indoor air quality.

The power unit stays out of the way. The hose connects to low-profile inlets in the wall. There are no filters to clog, no canisters to empty inside the house, and no machine to lug from room to room.

Our Installation Process

Every installation starts with a custom plan. We evaluate your home’s square footage, layout, ceiling heights, and construction type to determine:

  • The right power unit size for your home (undersized units are the most common cause of poor performance)
  • Inlet locations that give you full coverage with a standard-length hose
  • The most efficient tubing route through walls, floors, and ceilings
  • The best power unit location for venting and accessibility

Our installers are experienced, professional, and respectful of your home. We use only high-quality piping, fittings, and components. For existing homes, we route tubing with minimal disruption to walls and finishes.

New Construction and Existing Homes

We work with builders and homeowners at every stage:

  • New construction: Rough-in during framing for the cleanest installation and lowest cost. We coordinate with your builder and trim out when the home is ready.
  • Existing homes: Retrofit installations through finished walls. We use low-voltage techniques to minimize patching and keep the project clean.
  • Additions and expansions: Extending an existing system to a basement, addition, or garage is straightforward—we extend your existing tubing network and upgrade the power unit if needed.

Brands We Install

We are authorized dealers and installers for all major central vacuum brands including Beam, NuTone, Vacumaid, Eureka, ACV, and more. We will recommend the right system for your home’s size and your cleaning needs—not the most expensive option.
