Description

This is the genuine OEM foam filter for Electrolux, Centralux, and Aerus central vacuum power units — manufactured to the original specification rather than a generic aftermarket alternative. The foam filter is the primary filtration barrier inside these units, protecting the motor from fine dust and preventing bypass of particles back into the utility room air.

Fits: Electrolux, Centralux, and Aerus central vacuum models that use a foam filter.

Genuine vs. Generic:
The genuine Electrolux filter is made to the original density and cell structure specifications of the power unit. Generic foam filters may appear identical but can vary in porosity, which affects both filtration efficiency and airflow resistance. For motor longevity and maximum filtration performance, the genuine filter is the recommended replacement.

Maintenance: Rinse in warm water, allow to dry completely (24 hours minimum), then reinstall. Replace when foam begins to crumble or develop permanent damage.
