Description
A central vacuum utility inlet is a low-profile inlet valve designed for quick-connect access in utility areas, garages, basements, and workspaces. Unlike standard wall inlet valves, utility inlets are built for tough environments and frequent use — ideal for the garage vacuum hose, shop cleanup, or anywhere you need fast access to central vacuum suction without a permanent wall valve.
How It Installs:
Utility inlets mount directly into central vacuum piping and are surface-mounted or recessed into drywall. Connect any standard 1-3/8″ hose to activate suction — no wiring required for standard air-only hoses.
Common Uses:
- Garage and workshop cleanup
- Utility room and laundry area access points
- Basement vacuuming without a full hose run
- Outdoor and patio use with a garage hose kit
