The Beam Canister Utility Valve is a direct replacement for the built-in utility valve found on Beam central vacuum power unit canisters. If your Beam vacuum’s built-in valve is cracked, broken, or no longer sealing properly, this is the exact replacement part you need.
Compatibility: Fits all Beam central vacuum canister models.
The utility valve is the connection port built directly into the power unit canister, used for close-range vacuuming without running a hose through the house. It’s commonly used in utility rooms, garages, and near the central vacuum unit itself. Over time, the valve can crack from repeated use or snap if the hose is connected at an angle.
Installation: The replacement valve removes and installs without special tools on most Beam models. Release the old valve by pressing the side tabs, align the new valve with the canister port, and press firmly until it clicks into place. The whole job takes about five minutes.
