The Plastiflex Pigtail Cord Repair Kit provides everything needed to replace a damaged or worn pigtail power cord on a Plastiflex electric central vacuum hose. If the cord is frayed near the plug, the plug prongs are bent, or the fuse has blown and the fuse housing is damaged, this kit restores full function without replacing the entire hose assembly.

• Polarized fuse plug with integrated fuse
• 6 ft. replacement cord
• Wall housing cover

What Is a Pigtail Cord?
The pigtail cord is the short power cord on an electric central vacuum hose that plugs into a standard wall outlet to power the electric power brush. It’s separate from the low-voltage hose signal wire. Cords most commonly fail at the strain relief where they exit the handle, or the plug ends bend from years of use.
