Mountain Central Vac installs and repairs central vacuum systems in Logan and throughout Cache County. We’ve been making regular service runs to the Cache Valley since 1990. It’s a longer drive from our North Salt Lake base, but Logan is a community we know well and serve consistently.
Logan’s housing ranges from older bungalows and Victorian-era homes near the Utah State University campus to newer subdivisions pushing out into North Logan, Providence, and Nibley. The older homes require more planning around wall access and mechanical routing. The newer developments — especially the larger homes in the hills above the valley — are often straightforward and good candidates for retrofit.
Cache Valley’s agricultural setting means dust and particulate matter are a real consideration, more so than in urban areas. A central vacuum system exhausts 100% of debris outside the living space, which matters more when your home regularly contends with field dust, livestock dander, and seasonal particulate. Portable vacuums recirculate fine particles back through the motor into the room. Central vacuum doesn’t.

For a full installation, yes — the installation cost is the same as anywhere else we serve, and we don’t add a significant trip charge for Cache County. We batch Logan-area appointments when possible to make the drive efficient. Call us to discuss timing and we’ll make it work.
Not at all. Retrofit is what we do most. A newer home with drywall (rather than plaster) is actually easier to work in than an older home. If your home has an accessible attic or crawl space, the installation is clean and the patching is minimal. We’ll assess during the walkthrough.
Yes. If the problem is with the hose, wand, or another removable component, bring it to our North Salt Lake shop. For anything that requires diagnosing the full system — tubing blockages, motor issues, inlet valve problems — we’ll come to you.
