Pipe Strap

Description

Pipe straps secure central vacuum PVC piping to wall studs, joists, and framing during installation, preventing the pipe from sagging, shifting, or vibrating during operation. Properly strapped piping produces less noise during vacuuming and prevents stress on joints and fittings over time.

Fits: Standard 2″ central vacuum PVC piping.

Recommended Spacing: Support central vacuum piping every 4–6 feet along horizontal runs, and at any change of direction. Support within 12 inches of each fitting to prevent joint stress. For vertical runs in wall cavities, one strap per stud bay is typically sufficient.
