Pipe Cap

Description

The pipe cap is used to seal the end of a central vacuum pipe run, capping off a 2″ PVC pipe section that terminates without connecting to a fitting or inlet valve. Common uses include capping a future inlet valve location during initial installation (so the location can be opened up later), sealing a pipe end during a system expansion, or permanently terminating a run that’s no longer in use.

Fits: Standard 2″ central vacuum PVC piping systems.

Tip: When rough-in piping is installed during new construction before drywall is hung, pipe caps protect the open ends from debris, insects, and construction material getting into the vacuum piping system during the build process.
